Court Lodge

Kinver Kreations Project - Court Lodge

Court Lodge in Llanychaer, Pembrokeshire, is a cottage that was once the lodge for Court Mansion. The cottage was in ruins until it was restored in 2006.

In 2025 our designed for a sympathetic extension has been completed.

Working closely with PCNP to create a suitable modest extension was paramount. The timber cladding is chosen to fade to silver over time and a stepped flat roof allowed for thinner fascia. Flat rooflights take sunlight into the old existing building. Large sliding doors capture the afternoon sun and views over the river and woodlands.

Court Lodge by Llanychaer Bridge on the River Gwaun. Apparently the locals call it the Round House (even though it's rectangular!)
